i like these guys, but sometimes thier info is a bit over simplified..

Which in and by itself is not necessarily a bad thing, but they present it as a more detailied/scientific/'all - encompassing' information leaving folks to think it is complete...


one issue with thier examples would be WHITE colored cloudy condition caused by bacteria bloom...

a bacteria bloom can be accidental or can be inentional, but either way, is not covered in thier synopsis...

and btw, i fyou happen to have a bacteria bloom you will want to turn off your skimmer and let nature take it's course...


usually these blooms are induced to reduce nitrates.. typically those that feed/dose thier tanks with sugar or vodka have these types of blooms, at least once...
